Traffic Counting, Monitoring and Occupancy Detection System

An IoT video-based solution, capable of counting vehicles on a motorway, on a street or at certain spots in a parking facility, monitor traffic and detect hazards on a road, and monitor the occupancy of particular parking spaces. This is used to keep an accurate and up-to-date track of the number of vehicles in it or particular zones of it, for single bay detection, and to count and prioritize traffic flow

A Cloud-based solution using AI and Deep Learning Algorithms able to recognize vehicles and differentiate them according to type.

This information is transferred to the PT Cloud, from where it is forwarded to one of a wide array of PT Variable Message Signs, to the PT Mobile Application, PT Web Page or to 3-rd parties via API. It is also transferred to smart systems, controlling traffic flows to optimize and reduce congestion.

The Traffic Counting and Occupancy Detection System utilizes the PT Smart Counting and Occupancy Detection Camera to keep an accurate and up-to-date track of the vehicles.

Reports can be extracted about the amount of passers-by by hours, days, or months. Dashboard view with real-time data about the traffic displayed on a map. Combine different billboards in a pool and extract data, about the traffic around a pool of billboards, part of a certain campaign.
